Mansmith and Fielders Inc. Announces P33 Million Scholarship Grant for Marketing Teachers

Advocacy-based marketing training and consulting company, Mansmith and Fielders Inc., has bestowed a 5-year P33-million scholarship grant that aims to train 4,000 marketing professors and teachers across the Philippines.  By enhancing their skills and knowledge through marketing training courses, these educators will be better equipped to deliver relevant, up-to-date and practical marketing education to their students. The ripple effect of this initiative is expected to reach an estimated 10 million students in the Philippines, shaping their understanding of marketing and empowering them with the necessary skills for future success.

For over a quarter of a century, Mansmith and Fielders Inc. has been providing free training to marketing educators, equipping them with the latest knowledge and strategies in the ever-evolving field of marketing.  Mansmith has a portfolio of 70 course offerings in marketing, sales, and innovation, the largest in the Asia-Pacific region.  These courses are framework-based and handled by the most awarded team of business educators in the country.

In addition to this scholarship grant, Mansmith and Fielders Inc. continues to support the broader business community. Last year, it allocated a P5.7 million grant to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to provide free training on business model mapping for over 1,000 negosyo counselors. This initiative will benefit approximately one million micro, small, and medium-scale business owners, equipping them with the 11 building blocks of the Mansmith Business Model Map tool.  The Mansmith Business Model Map has been proven to help many businesses adapt and thrive amidst challenges and uncertainties.

Marketing anthropologist Chiqui Escareal-Go, the CEO of the Mansmith and Fielders Group, and co-author of a forthcoming book “Marketing for Beginners” emphasizes the importance of education and acknowledges the pivotal role that educators play in shaping the mindsets of the young. Escareal-Go stated, “Our commitment to education has been at our core since the inception of Mansmith and Fielders Inc. We have always recognized the multiplying effect of empowering educators with the latest knowledge and skills,  which creates a positive and lasting impact on the lives of millions of students across the Philippines – the future leaders of our country.”

Under the direction of Mansmith executive director for impact, Rg Gabunada, this training grant shall further reinforce the role of digital technology in providing access to as many teachers nationwide.  Gabunada noted, “With digital technology, the option for marketing educators to tap Mansmith to be “in every classroom” all over the country, will also be possible before the end of 2023.”

As Mansmith and Fielders Inc. celebrates its 33rd anniversary this year and having been previously conferred the prestigious ASEAN Business Awards for Innovation Excellence in a search among ten countries, the company’s commitment to education and innovation remains unwavering.
