Six marketing and sales experts will share the new realities of the new normal in the 2nd Mansmith Brand Summit which premiers on July 8, 2020 via the online platform of Continuum Academy, where learning can happen “at your own time, at your own pace, in your own place”.
The Summit entitled “New Realities in Marketing“ will still be available after premier date, in case marketers and entrepreneurs are not available on July 8.
Chad Sotelo, President of Electrolux Philippines and a Mansmith Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) winner in 2013 will talk about the “New Realities in Value Creation”, where he will do a deep dive into value creation, starting from his concept of value creation, before dissecting each part. Interestingly, he believes that “some works can create value, while other works can even destroy value”. Chad will also share tips on how to craft a value proposition in the new normal, as well as explain why some people still buy products that are priced higher.
Ice Lacsamana, Regional Brand Director of Procter and Gamble based in Singapore, and a Mansmith Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) winner in 2017 will talk about “Staying Relevant Amidst Chaos and Uncertainties”. She believes that before even planning for any marketing campaign, marketers and entrepreneurs must ask “What does COVID19 mean to us as human beings?”, or before even asking “What does it mean to our business?” Ice will share new consumer behaviors and mindsets, and how these can affect business, including how consumers have redefined essential products. Lastly, she will discuss how to future proof your marketing plan, using different time frames – – short term (quarantine), medium term (transition) and long term (pre-vaccine).
Neil Trinidad, Country CMO of Lazada Philippines, and a Mansmith Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) winner in 2012 will talk about “Building a Better eCommerce Business”. 72% of Pinoys have already switched or extended their purchase online, with the number continuing to rise. Neil will share what people buy online, as well as growth rate of products before and during Covid. He will reveal what’s growing much higher than grocery items during ECQ. Neil will also share the trends happening in ecommerce for marketing executives who want to be ahead of the pack.
Anson Dichaves, a marketing consultant, shopper marketing expert, and a Mansmith Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) winner in 2004 (first batch winner), will talk about “How Covid Changed Shopper Behavior” and will share how companies can take advantage of opportunities during crisis.
Jonathan Joson, Director of Boozy, and a Mansmith Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) winner in 2011 will talk about “The Digital Consumers”. Jonat will present a data-heavy session showing consumer trends before, during and after the lockdown. He promises a no-hold barred sharing of what opportunities can be exploited, what businesses will have explosive growth, and what businesses will likely not make it unless they pivot.
Kring de Guzman-Lao, Director of Digital Acceleration of McDonald’s Philippines and a Mansmith Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) winner in 2010 with talk about her new role in McDonald’s Philippines. She will share the 6Es that enterprise-wide digital acceleration groups should be evaluated on, as well as give the 7 points to drive digital in your company and in your industry.
